I really have! I inquired to Fomoco to find out how many got this tranny, if it was a stepchild that was slapped in, hopefully I'll hear back within a week! I've been doing the tranny service with the same trans kit since new, mobil1 mercon 5 fluid! Latest service was march this year which is when I did tuneup with e3 plugs, msd coils and wires, this car hasn't had upgrades installed til this year! Far too long to wait! Lol but I know what I have, I didn't purchase this second hand!I have the receipt for the first oil change at key ford in Pensacola fl, on Davis highway, just shy of 3k on the clock! It may be my oldest sons first car! But I'll never sell it

My car ALSO has 3.08 gears and the shift happens at 3k.

It makes it easier when running someone from a light and rolling into first gear.

I actually like it.
Its not a problem.

But if your so concerned with it driving like stock...why not leave it stock?

ok, I should clarify something. I dont race my car, i know it was rated at less than 250 horse. far too many cars are quicker today, I drive it to work and pick my daughter up from school. The Infiniti on the other hand, I will run in! 80 more horse v6, 6mt. 3.45 gear, for a sedan, its badass!! The Stang is more of a lay low car for me, For it's time, it was a fast car, still will get up and go if I want it to, but with over 150k on the clock, I have no business runnin it. Runs like a champ, have no complaints, the tuner has been more trouble for me on this car than good, and the dipstick tube to top it off. Quicksteel only did so much for it, i had a tube from a model with the 4r70w out of the salvage yard, side by side, they are in no way compatible. Someone even offered one from 94-95 model, well, we all know how they go! side exit to the header, mine is shaped like an S and exits rear of the intake. just inside the edge of the pass. side valve cover.

I'm not looking for the stock ride, I just dont want the erratic shifting if my foot isn't on the floor.

So anyone have any adjustments they did to the car? or just plug and box tune it? The point of the tuners are to adjust the settings and see what you like with the different programs, I did the box tune, but it wasnt satisfactory. I am closer to satisfaction than I have been, but the erratic shifting and late high rpm shifting is what I want to get away from. It doesn't shift like that normally. Maybe I should contact the makers, AGAIN. Hey, if I cant get this resolved, I'll have a 4 month old tuner for sale!

Its not irratic shifting. Its shifting for more performance. Running gears out longer and making that car faster.

Theres nothing you can change. If you have an issue contact AM and have Bama send you a new tune. Otherwise i dont know what to tell you man

Also the cars rated for 215 hp lol...

Mine does that sometimes. I think 3400 is a little high. But i mean if you let off does it shift?

If the car surges in and out of two different gears, its erratic shifting, if you were local, you could drive it and see what I'm talking about I can shoot video and post it on you tube, you can get an idea of how painstakingly embarrassing this is from a sports car. Until i get a resolution, the tuner is out. The shifting doesn't jerk back and forth while passing. I'll post a link if I get the video this morning, I have a few things to do.

Sounds like " I have a rattle and turned the radio up so I wouldn't have to hear it anymore"
Or call Bama Monday-Friday 9AM-5:30PM EST and explain your issues and they'll email you a new tune within 15 minutes.

Also, make sure that you've corrected your speedometer for wheel/tire changes, as if your MPH is off, the shifting will be off as well. Shifting is reliant upon MPH and throttle position. If your MPH is off, it won't shift correctly. THIS IS ALSO AFFECTED BY THE GEARING OF THE TRANNY

I changed the gear on the speedometer cable when I changed the wheels and tires, I even got a few extra gears anticipating a gear swap in the rear. I'll hit you guys up on Monday, I'm spending a few days with this and gonna try and fine tune it.
