96 Cobra /98 Mark VIII IMRC Compatibility

I have a 96 Cobra that has the IMRC deleted. I also have a set of IMRC's from a 98 Mark VIII with controller (Gen 2, Non-vacuum controlled), etc.

Are these compatible? I've read the plug is different, but nothing about evertyhing else being compatible. I can re-wire a plug though.

And yes, I know about IMRC delete, and why. I'd just rather re-install them since I have a good functioning set....if they will work. I wouldn't spend the money to find a set, I would just live with it like it is.

And as far as the delete, the previous owner removed all the butterflies, and the controller has a relay ghetto wired into it to fake the PCM into thinking they're operating. I haven't looked into how he did it enough to know exactly what he did though....and I don't know if it was a function of a bad controller, so hooking it up to the IMRC plates I have laying around isn't a viable option.

the deletes themselves will fit perfectly. the lincolns use the same heads as your cobra does. cant answer on the plug thing though...not real hard to change that out though if it is needed.

I'm not wanting to put the deletes on, I'm wanting to put the functioning IMRC's on. I traced the wiring to the relay, and so I have the Cobra end solved. Now I just have to find and cross reference the 98 Gen II Mark VIII IMRC wiring.
