TPS Problem?

Noticed on my scan software (Elmscan 5 and OBDwiz) that my PCM is reading a 17.3%-93.3% throttle range. That is to say with the blade fully closed its registering 17.3% throttle and with the blade fully open its registering 93.3% throttle. Does this sound like an adjustment issue or a TPS failure/replacement issue? Autozone says they have one for $22, although I fully distrust their parts in general...

buy one replace it and see what happens if it goes to 100 percent then it was a tps problem

the tps wont read 100%. those settings are about right, little high on the closed side i think. if no SES light, then dont worry about it. the tps on these cars arent adjustable stock, but there have been a few guys that have elongated the holes for minor adjustment.
