Need Some Help With My New Mustang

Okay so ive always wanted a mustang and just recently got one so I know the basics in power torque and all that and Im more mechanicly savy than the average kid but i still got some learning to do.

2 weeks ago I traded my 2001 dodge stratus for a 97' Mustang GT. big step for me :p

I got it as is with no smog n im willing to spend money to get it to pass.

Its got cold air system, BBK shortys and 40 series Flows, with B&M Short throw.
Also apparently an aftermaret fuel pump for higher psi but never put the bigger injectors on.

If I sit an idle for a few minutes and rev it blows out white smoke n im not sure why.
I was thinking the fuel pumps dumping a bit more gas in there when i dont need it but shouldnt my fuel pressure regulator send it back into circulation?

Are you exempt in CA, cuz with those headers I don't think it'll pass visual unless they're CARB exempt or you know the right person. As for the white smoke.....is it burning oil?

well I asked a guy at the smog shop n he said he might just look away n do the tailpipe emmision test, I keep hearing if i have the cats on ill be alright. and the smoke yeah It does smell like burnt oil but My oil pressure hasnt changed since i got the car n all the fluids have stayed the same level but Im just gonna have to trouble shoot. My brother said maybe it needs new valve stem seals.

Yeah my mustang actually does the exact same thing with the smke. I asked the same question a while back and never got a good answer so im curious to see what people think the problem is.

My solution was..... build a pi swaped motor, notch the pistons, add cam

i assume that will fix whatever problems i had before haha

mine blows smoke and its from burning oil. It happens everytime i start off or stop and back up (so basically when im idling and then give it gas. And my oil pressure stays the same as well as the oil level. It burns such a small amount but thats all it takes

lol well no such thing as a second first impression might as well make the first one badass as it get lol. nothings more appealing to a bucnh of ford fans that a peice of meat on your plate thats so rare its still eating your salad :p

Lol some old boat car that had the potential of being a cruise ship it was so big tried to race me today but he was keeping up sorta because it was raining so hard i didn't get traction till 4th ;D lesson learned, get better tires so I dont have problems beating the titanic

Lol yeah it was a sad day for me. having trouble with a rolling hotel trying to race me but i couldnt help but laugh at it. Im thinkin i really need new tires haha my Kuhmos are lookin like slicks and thats only fun to slide around in the rain not for racing a city bus ;p haha
