common problem but whats the cure??


once my 98 gt heats up it starts to run like crap especialy in low rpms and makes a popping backefirey sound anybody know how to fix this please????

Throwing any codes?

Check and clean your MAF, IAC, and tps
Check for vacuum leaks.

How old are your front o2 sensors?
Are you loosing coolant?

Need more info honestly...but if it only happens when the car is warmed up then it's probably a closed loop thing which usually would indicate "sensors"

Check all of your electrical grounds. Check your plug wires, coil, and plugs. Seafoam (just the vacuum system, don't waste your time on putting it in the fuel or oil).
