Disappointed in power

i have a 98 mustang gt with gears and etc. and i put a 78mm throttle body and saw a little bit of power but i was thinking the rest would come out with a p.i. intake manifold.
I just got done swapping the intake manifold and didnt notice much of a power difference at all. i also have underdrive pullies.
im pretty dissapointed and im wondering if a sct tuner would do wonders for me right now since i have all these mods and no tune?

how fast did you get your engine spinning? When I swapped the PI intake two months ago, I definitely felt the improvement over the PI - I'd say from 3000 rpm to 5500 rpm more pull.

give your car time to adjust to the new intake/tb/plenum combo. my car runs horrible after disconnecting the baby until the computer adjusts itself and gets comfortable (usually takes a few days of driving it)

i too felt like my car didnt change much after pi cams/pi intake/longtubes. a tune made a really noticeable difference in how the car drove, but the top end pull is definitely noticeable now - especially when driving a stock npi car after driving mine.

fact of the matter is you wont gain too much with just those mods. gotta step up to custom cams/pi headswap/nitrous/etc if you really wanna be put back in your seat. hence my latest project
