I recently installed a SVT focus fuel pump in my supercharged 98 gt my question is how much $ should it cost for the pump? The pump is a direct replacement for the stock fuel pump in my 98 gt I paid over $300 just for the pump and I installed it. I have read a couple of articles and read that someone bought a new SVT pump for $95 I have looked on line and have seen them foe $150 I'm not sure that they are the exact same pump but they do say for 98gt. I was also told my 98gt is return style fuel system I always thought it was returnless style what do you think or know about which 1 it is.

I tryed one of those first but they were not a direct replacement (there was a little moddification to make them work properly) and I still paid more than $110 it was like $150.
I had dropped the tank and taken out the stock fuel pump and held them side by side the walboro was longer than the stock pump and the wire connections were different. so I called the guy back and he then ordered the SVT pump and it fit perfect without any modding. I'm glad I got it but I think I paid twice as much for the SVT pump.
Ohhh and the best part is the SVT pump is quiet I had an inline boost pump working with the stock fuel pump and that thing whined loud (I do not miss that at all).
