white smoke at idle

I notice when I let my car idle for a short while it will start blowing a little bit of white smoke. I know white smoke = burning coolant, but im not sure where its comming from, the car doesn't overheat at all, the temp is always in the optimum range. I know that this model is notorius for cracking intake mani's, could that be the problem? I don't see any cracks in the mani, I even took it to a dealership, and they couldn't find anything wrong. what are yalls thoughts?

I guess it just depends on how you look at the smoke. blue white pretty much the same to me. But I dont see alot of cars burning antifreeze. That would be alot like steam to me.

blue = oil

white = coolant possible but in large billows

normally if you have no cats it will have some white to it as well. Mine smokes white too.

mine does this also and i was just about to post a question about it . Mine only seems to do it if i sit at idle for more than 2 or so mins and when i burp the throttle , i get a puff of grayish smoke . I have an o/r x , and havnt had a chance to get it tuned yet . The previous owner claims he had the timing advanced , but i was alos lied to about other stuff so who knows . My car does go through a quart every oil change ( 3k ) . I was wondering if it was cause of the no cats , or maybe a vacum prob or something . If it where valves or rings , i thought it would either smoke at start , or while running . Only smokes at idle , and then it only does it when i burp the throttle . If im driving around and lay into it , i get no smoke . Not sure what is going on for sure . Then to top it all off , my steeda cable broke today so im stranded for a few days till i can get a cable . I called the place that put it and the quadrant on , and was told steeda only has 90 day warranty . That sux !!!
