Biggest tires on 17x8 rims?
i need new tires and i wanted to know what are the biggest tires i could put on my 17x8 rear wheels with no rub....

275 rear 255 fr. Although some people say 275 up front without rub too.

245/45/17s on an 8in wide
275/40/17 on a 9in wide

i have 275 on the front and 315's on the rear with stock wheels and have not had a problem

i know 275's fir an 8. so 245 isnt as big as they go.

its not a good idea to install tires that are too wide for a rim like putting
a 275 on an 8in wide
