rebuilding my motor, wondering if i got all the parts


im rebuilding my 281 2v out of my 96 gt
the block is getting stroked to a 5.1
i got pi heads and intake
comp cams with 550 lift
mac long tubes with non catted h
i got all the gaskets and other small stuff but im not sure if i should upgrade my injectors, throtle body ect
also, can i use my stock oil pan or do i need one with stroke clearance

the 19lb injectors will work fine, if you can get a cheap used set of 24lb they would be ok also just cause they will have to work less

I agree, you'll be almost at 90% duty cycle around 335 rwhp or so. Going with a 24 or 30 lb injector may be a wise investment however not nessesary. Do yourself a favor have the car tuned do not waste your money on a calibrated or larger MAF.

im deff getting it tuned when its done
would ibe able to use the injectors off of a dohc mark 8 motor

yes, I don't remeber what they come with (24's?) Just be sure to have it tuned for the injectors. Also you will be able to use your stock oil pan, if you plan to run a windage tray be sure to clearance it before final assembly.

Suggestion: I would not run a big cam (duration) with the added stroke as you are going to want to take advantage of the torque. I would suggest a reverse split duration to take advantage of the poor intake flow numbers, no more than 230 duration @ .050. If you would like I could spec you out a nice custom grind, PM for details if you are interested.

thanks but i already ordered the cam and the duration is 234 in and 238 ex @.050
