THANK GOD

JUST LETTING YOU ALL KNOW THAT I WILL BE GETTING A NEW JOB VERY SOON. I WAS WONDERING WHEN I START GETTING SOME MONEY TO COME IN, I WAS WANTING TO GET THE STANG RIGHT. BEFORE I START PLAYING WITH THE CAR, I WAS WANTING TO MAKE SURE THE MOTOR WAS GOOD! I HAVE 137K MILES AND IT IS RUNNING GOOD. I WAS WONDERING WHAT SHOULD I BE LOOKING AT CHANGING AT THIS AMOUNT OF MILES TO KEEP THE MOTOR IN GOOD SHAPE....

do your normal tune ups and change your oil every 3K.IMO use synthetic engine oil.Change your diff fluid to synthetic.Royal purple,Amsoil,Redline
are all good oil companies. If you have a manual trans also switch over
to synthetic oil.

And stop typing in all caps, that makes motors blow up faster than anything else.

:stupid

Who cares about caps. I have caps on all the time at work because of the system we use and sometimes i forget to take it off.

typically a mod motor can last up around 200k miles if taken care of properly. Like stated before, keep up on it good like fluids and keep an eye out for any possible noises and other parts that need to be maintained through out its life.

I'll second that. Do the normal tune-ups on schedule. Oil at 3K, filters (air, oil, FUEL, pcv). And a good lube job.....luuuube.

with that type of mileage the shocks struts and brakes really need to be looked at to see if they have been neglected! and normal stuff!
