Leak/questions underneath car

so i got underneath my car to see where it looks like it is leaking radiator fluid from, it looked like it was somewhere above the oil filter...

there is a spot here where there is supposed to be a bolt and there isnt any, another spot on the other side too. i believe this has to do with the transmission

this cord next to the left cat isnt plugged into anything. it just sits there.

EDIT: WOW FAIL, looking at this picture i see something i didnt see while under there, is it supposed to be plugged into that thing right above?

It's either the reverse lights or the speed sensor.. if you have a working speedometer, it's the reverse lights.

The coolant near your oil filter is likely a leaking gasket for the coolant/oil adapter block or it could be the clamp for the lower coolant hose.

I have the same problem on my car its either the oil cooler to block gasket or the oil cooler to adapter gasket.

mine didnt start to leak till it got cold out?? did ur guys' leak like that

yes, mine would only leak if it dropped below like 40 degrees

Yea mine did too, but it was the intake manifold. The gaskets had gone bad. That was where mine was leaking it looked like it was right above the tranny. I had somebody look at it though because i wasn't sure. The gaskets are only like 20 bucks at Advanced Auto but its a little time consuming.

i just did my gaskets, hopefully they werent missaligned a little bit

As far as your missing bolt, that's nothing to worry about. It's for the front transmission cover, every trans-engine mount bolt holds it on and theres an extra 2 or 3 small ones the screw into the transmission side below where it mounts to the engine.
