i just cant win with headlights
i just had some nice "cobra" style headlights(idk how they are diff from my stock ones) and my hids bulbs dont fit inside them so i have to send them back and look for another pair, i already tried some black euro design headlights and they were so badly made, both headlights were bought from ebay
anybody got ideas on what i should get that works for hids? at this point idc what they look like

I would steer clear from the eBay Xentecs, I have some and they work ok however they start to flicker when its really cold outside upon start up but it goes away eventually. Flickering HID's wont last long. Xenonworx are the best I've had so far however I'd have to agree retrofitting some factory HID's would be the most reliable. Also, Have you thought about an HID projector lens retrofit?

I have ebay lights with projectors and my HIDs fit fine.
Are you sure you have the right bulb?

yeah sounds like the wrong bulb size, it shouldnt change from stock to aftermarket.
on another note..... buy from a reputable company if it is on ebay an yah shouldnt have a problem |

sorry for being late, just forgot about the thread but i got the right bulb size cause i was using them with the oem lights and the problem with the cobra style lights is the little reflector part that covers the bulb when you look directly at them
sharktaint, can you post up pics of your lights and/or links of where you got them from?
