BRAKES!!!!!


is it me or are mustang brake kits overwhelmingly spendy? know of any good but less than 1500$?

-vortec supercharger(10psi) could (30psi)
-stage 2 cams-BBK shorty ceramic headers
-Flowmaster dual exhaust 3 1/2 inch
-3.73 gears-subframe connecters
-goodyear eagle F1
-sct ford programmer

well im looking for a drilled and/or slotted 3 piston.. are the cobras like that?

nah.. stock Cobra rotors are plain. with 2 pistons.

they are a def. upgrade from a 98GT's brakes though.

you don't need cross drilled rotors anyway.. they are just for looks.

well, not exactly. If you're taking your car to a track day/road racing where you're gonna be heavy on the brakes a lot over an extended time period, slotted/cross-drilled rotors can help prevent brake fade, as they shed heat better. For street use though, they're just pretty and cost more.

Also, why three piston?

well i was pretty much talking for an all around brake upgrade. its the last thing my car needs to be complete. this car was builtfor sleeper perposes. right now i cant goe through the corners very fast because my brakes suck ass. i need a whole brake kit. last one i saw that i liked was i think roush performance. came with everything. front/rear/braided lines. but it was around 3k. i dont willingly want to fork out that much.
