check holcombmotorsports.com for HPM1105-AU($140) their bumpsteer kit requires no machine work. Also UPR products.com also makes a kit
called the UPR extreme bumpsteer kit($110) that doesnt require machinework

just buy some replacement tie rods, you dont need a bumpsteer kit. plus you will have to have the front end realigned, either way you deceide to go

Ok...You have bad inner or outer tie rod ends ?
Second, why would someone tell you the seals could be leaking ? You can have the inner seals leaking, but you would know it because youre rack boots would be wet. If you pull them away it would leak out too. So check. I have just installed new ps racks when that has happened. Used. If youre just changing the outer tie rod end, then yeah you can go bump steer. First give this a read so you understand exactly what it is... http://www.moddedmustangs.com/forums...ned-vt875.html Now you can choose about any kit you want. I would stick to a well known name such as steeda, and their kit involves NO drilling of the spindle. Just a quick link i found http://www.partshopper.com/shop/Stee...tang-m139.html Or you could always just get 2 tie rod ends and do it in about 20 minutes.

to loose to align? Sounds like ball joins then.
Just look at your rack and pinon the inner tie rods are located inside the accordion looking boots, if those are wet theres a problem. I havent seen many bad outer tie rods personally, besides a busted grease boot, or just loose feeling. My advice , if the inner tie rods are dry then get some new outter tie rods, balljoints and realign front end.

tie rod ends are easy. Ball joints are easy but agrivating. You need a big ass hammer to beat the old ball joint out with, then go to autozone and rent a balljoint press tool, use the tool to put the ball joint back in. 1st timer I would say to do ball joints and tie rod ends 2 hours or so. I would just pay the alignment shop to put the ball joints in though if you think you cant do it, but the tie rods are to easy to let them do. simply take the tie rod end nut off tap
side of spindle till the tie rod comes out then unscrew the other end. You will see exactly how it comes off once you see the new ones.

No way in hell am I going to pay for something that I capable of doing!! I wanted to do my clutch in my garage and my parents didnt want me to because they thought I was biting of to much at a time so I said fine I wont do it if you pay for it to get installed and they did so that is sick! Could I just take my ball joints to say a shop and have them press them in or is the press tool easy enough to use? Thanks! and is there anyway I can tell if I need new ball joints or not? Same with needing new outer tie rods?

to have a shop press them in you either have to have the car at their shop, or take your control arm off and take it to a shop. The tool is easy to use really. Its getting the old BJ's out thats a bitch. You can use the press to remove them also but I just use a big ass ball peen hammer and beat them out.
To check the ball joints, jack the car up on the frame and then pull out and push in on the upper part of the wheel and see if it has play if so they are bad. Tie rod ends I think you do the same thing but grab the tire on the left and the right and move shake it back and forth to check for play (make sure steering wheel is locked so the tires dont turn back and forth) Understand how to do that? If not I will try to word it differant somehow.

yep if it moves then the ball joints are bad, thats where you get the loose action. Autozone should have the ball joints for about $18 each. Dont buy the expensive ones either man, they are no better. Believe me, I used to work for federal mogul / MOOG. I made ball joints. They are the same exact ball joint, only differance one might have a grease fitting and one might not, or the grease boot might have MOOG on it or it might not.

I still think its only the tie rods, because they couldnt align a car that has tie rods that are bad, because the toe would be constanly changing! Anyway i will lift up the front end and check out the BJs and see if they need replacing because if I am doing it once I might as well do it correctly!

Why do you not recommend a bumpsteer kit and just normal tie rods?

because you have the same car as I do with the same eibach springs as I do. and I dont NEED them so I figure you dont NEED them either, you might want them but I doubt you need them. My car has no bump steer. Does yours?
Did you read the article in your new 5.0 mag about the caster camber plates, it speaks briefly on bumpsteer kits in that article Read page 191. The 2nd question in the interview says this "for the 94-04's CC plates make it possible to adjust in enough positive caster that bumpsteer should be unaltered.
