Re: Intake.

I had a BBK fender kit that I bought for a little over $ 200.00. It seemed to make somewhat of a difference and it sounded good. However it was total pain to install and clean the filter at times. I just went back to the original air box. If you decide to go with the cold air kit ? Hang on to you old stuff, you may need it in the future. Good luck.

JLT too...

fenderwell....if you have water problems where you live. Bad idea for a CAI all together.

Would liketo see real dyno numbers on the typical cai that are out there. How much sense does it make to add a heat sink as an air intake tube? Why do you think Ford and others make them out of rubber? There are only a couple out there that make real sense that are made of composite material like K&N or air raid. Those don't act as a haet sink. Agree? A monkey with a note in his mouth can figure out that if you remove the silencer in the factory air box you get more air, more air = more HP.

Well if look are the only thing important to you under your hood then you keep looking pretty and I'll keep pssing you.
Some people like to have something under there hood that makes a difference and boosts HP and not so worried about how it looks. Then they listen to you thinking that you may have some insite on the bullshit numbers that these companys are putting out there to get people like you to buy there garbage.

I have never used a JLT CAI kit but from my experience, CAI are pretty much BS. Granted I like them for 1 they clean up the engine compartment nicely.
