6-8 hours is outrageous! 2 hours tops! i can see them saying they might need to keep the car 6-8 hours if they have to stop working on it to work on something else, but start to finish 2 hours

I do my own installs so its FREE 4 me!

Do you live in the Nashville area by any chance? If so I can hook you with a guy to do it. It will cost you $230, that includes labor, gear oil and speedo gear(depending on year) if needed.

Yeah I got a quote for 250 at a mustang shop this week just for install! So once I get the money I am going to use them, but they want 259.99 for FRPP 4.10s! So its going to cost like 600 just for the install and tax and all that! And if I want new bearings and seals it will cost around another 100 more! Do you guys think that I should do the bearings and seals? 122000 miles!

I would with that many miles. Its cheaper to do them now will putting in the gears, than to wait until later. Ask someone how much to do seals and bearings alone and you will see the extra benjamin is worth it.

That had my car all day, overnight, and I got it back the next morning. I was a little upset about having to let the car stay overnight, But I have no gear wine and they only charged my 160 labor to install my gears and locker.
