antifreeze spots on windshield

my heater core was changed about 5 months ago and when that went i would have the antifreeze clouds on the windshield and the leak from the weap hole on the firewall and such..and today i noticed there were 2 smallish antifreeze clouds on the windshield again. it better not be the heater core again. you guys have any suggestions or should i see what happens

residual antifreeze from the heater core install?
have you tried to bypass the heater core?

take the 2 heater hoses where they go into the firewall.
Disconnect them at the firewall and buy a splicer and hook the 2 hoses together, thus taking the heater core out of the loop and bypassing it.
