update

so i havent made it to the dyno yet, mainly because ive fallen behind on the few loose ends i had to tie up. i swapped my catted h back on, screwed up an o2 sensor by splicing it into an air/fuel gauge so i gotta put a new one in..blah. car runs good cept the o2 sensor deal causing it to surge and crap, gonna do that if the rain ever lets up. boost gauge wasnt working right due to the wonderful pos t fitting they gave me, so i dont know the boost im at yet. i had to cancel the appointment for the tune cause the stang wouldnt have made the trip there running the way it is with the messed up o2 sensor. catted hpipe sounds ten times better than the off road. so yeah the rain has kept me inside 99% of the time.

yeah i got emissions. i know nothing about cats, maybe you can help me. are they supposed to get wicked friggin hot real quick? i mean not cherry red or anything but really hot? and hiss like crazy when i shut the car off? think the overheating could mess with the front o2 sensors?

the hotter the catalytic converter, the better it should perform. that is why the stock cats are up into the side of the engine block almost.
