Are valves adjustable?
My car is a 98 cobra, I have a ticking sound coming from somewhere in the engine area. With the hood up sticking my head in there and reving engine, I can barely hear it. But going down the road I can hear it much louder echoing off the car beside me. Two years ago it made almost the exact same sound cause I stupidly let it get 4 qts. low on oil (my 93 cobra had a check oil idiot light) and I wasted 4 rod bearings. Since then it's never been low on oil again. Maybe they didn't get the crack polished perfectly and it's just now starting to eat the bearings again. Also sounds like valves might need adjusted. So hence my question if they are adjustable. Thanks guys.

no they are not.
but the 4v's have a tick on the right side head. Normal. you can replace the head if you want and it will go away.
