what the hell is this




ok see that D shape bar goign accross the top of my motor what the hell is that and why is it there every picture ive seen of stock 96 gt's including on here or in books on sites i have yet to see this bar on them so yea what the fuck is that thingso far all ive figured out it gets in the way when im trying to add oil

its a strut tower bar, it sitffens up the front end of the car significantly and prevents body flex

well actually it is D shaped if you turn it sideways i want to know if it came with the car or if its aftermarket and i guess that would explain why my car takes corners like its on train tracks

it is a strut brace and yeah it is a D shape. I knew what you were talking about, why is everyone laughing ??

Some years and certain productions have them. Mine does not.

I will give better handling and a stiffer set up! I personally would get one, but if you ever plan on getting a JLT cai you will have to use washers underneath someparts to get the intake to fit!
