i wish i had the money for those heads. Im kind of at a loss right now for any performance options, debating wether to take the tranmission down to a shop and have it rebuilt
and since my exhaust system was so screwed i have a off road h pipe on the way and havent decided on a catback system yet.

does anyone know if the transmission from the lincoln would be the same?
i know its a 4r70w but i read diff things from searches
like it has a diff valve body for smoother shifts, might have a longer tailshaft...but found no definate answer though.

motor and trans are out of the lincoln. transmission is the same as the mustangs thank god. going to put some pi cams in the lincoln motor
as well as a new front seal on the transmission just to be safe.

might think about getting a set of shorty headers so i dont have to put these restrictive ass exhaust manifolds back on.

dunno what im gonna do with my bullet intake since its only designed for pi heads. it would break my heart to get rid of it especially since it was so expensive.

Just put a Bullitt intake on my motor with non pi heads. No different than using any other pi intake on non pi heads. Do you have all of the other parts you will need to make the intake work?

well i have changed my mind once again, instead of rushing to get things put back together. im just going to take my time.
dropped my transmission off at a shop, theyre going to go through it
tell me what it needs and going to have it rebuilt along with a decent shiftkit.

instead off npi heads from the lincoln engine, im just going to look around and
pick up a set.

thats about it for the time being.

new h-pipe on the way, going to get decent catback exhaust since my last pipe sounded like garbage with stock mufflers.
cant wait til everything is done and have my vehicle back

anyone know if theres truth to our valve seals going out around 120 thousand miles??
i have read that on a few websites
if thats the case since im getting in over my head moneywise with this car
i was going to replace them on the lincoln motor. and forget about pi heads.

it only has 72 thousand miles but hasnt been run in about 2 years
im just worried they could of started drying out.

but at the same time i really dont feel like pulling heads off another motor!!
i dont have access to compressed air to hold the valves up either.

I've never heard that. I know plenty of people with well over 120k on the clock that don't have ANY problems other than routine maintenance and the occasional o2 sensor/ IAC/ MAF cleaning.

Try an " easy out " and some heat on what you have left of the bolt.
