Ran at Midnight Madness

Was able to run my car for the first time tonight at the strip. I have an automatic with 3.73 and a few mods. I was running about 9.8 all night. I constantly got swirly during second gear and towards the end of the night could not hook up of the line as well. Sometimes ran a 10 due to this. Ran againist another GT that was a stick and beat him with a 9.82 time to his 9.92 time. Second run lost 10.1 to his 10.0, could not hook up on line. Anyways getting a SCT livewire, what do you think I could save on time?

I assume this was an 1/8 mile track? What kind of tires are you running? Suspension mods?

Yes that was an 1/8 mile. I am running Suminito HTR II right now. Great tread on tires, stick to the road great. I only have steeda loweing springs on the front with brand new struts as well.

1st problem it was midnight madness, they don't prep our track for midnight madness. go to the regular track friday at 6 and run trophy or street class and you'll pick up a little bit. then go pi swap. its the best

Well I live in Clarksville and thats about it. I dont hang out much and if I do its in Nashville. I have full custody of my boy so that cuts into my hang out time. If your hanging around Hastings are you part of the Wildhorses club or is that stampede? When will you be there next besides tonight?

no clubs, i was in horseplay until they broke up then i just gave up on clubs. we bring kids out there all the time. i bring my 7 year old boy out alot. do you go to the nashville street races on sat? we go every once and a while. but we just meet up there and talk. just a bunch of car guys that like cars and wanna hang out.

No i haven't been to the street races in Nashville. Are you talking about Union Hill or somewhere else? I have a 8yr old that I guess I could bring with me one night and let him hang out as well with the kids some time.

sounds like a plan. in nashville they have street races. well thats what its called. they don't race a whole lot but they sure have alot of cars out there. they meat at the bridge.(by the stadium) sat nights. its real fun by the way did you see my times on the other thread?
