Mine are Windsor cams as well. I may sell them and get some romeo cams or I may just use them. They were only $20.00

gtdan....you can get the tool and give it a try with it. But like i stated be very careful. If you mess up, then youre just gonna have to retime it. If you take the front cover off, you will have to do everything as well. With Romeo cams you can just zip off the bolt and zip-tie everything in place. Windsor cams you cant.

Hey well 1st let me say you guys are the bomb to let others know info that's really hard to get when you are never near a shop or know what to do. I look in all the magazines and catalogs and they all say that the new pi intake doesn't fit the 96-98 heads but how did you do it. i'm planing to get the cams and intake but not swap the heads.

Just did the cam swap using take outs from a supercharged pi saleen. At the same time I installed new seals, springs and had some valve spring retainers milled down for extra clearance. I haven't had it dynoed since before I did the pi intake swap using instructions from these forums, so we will see as I have an appointment for that tommorrow. So far I think it was worth it from a seat of the pants, we will see what the dyno says tommorow.
