Ebay?

I know that some people have very bad experiences with ebay stuff and some people have no problems with ebay. My question is whether the ebay rotors are good quality. I dont want to buy them and they end up cracking or being bad quality and be worse than stock. Anyone have any experience with ebay brakes?

when in doubt go with a brand you trust, if it is a known brand you should research them and cross-reference to see if others have had luck and if they are reliable.

is this someone on ebay selling rotors from a known company like ssbc or brembo?

if its not a known ebay seller and they are selling no-name products i would pass on it.

Can't say I have bought rotors off ebay but...

They're probably fairly crummy. Probably not the best, likely Chinese made. However if you were just going to slap on a pair of the cheapies from Autozone/Advance/Napa, it's probably about the same damned thing. Pick your poison.

If you're looking for performance ones, they can likely be the same product you're looking for. I wouldn't get a no name performance set off ebay, but if it's a brand name, go for it.

DONT GO WITH EBAY!!!! I just had to send back a king cobra clutch kit today because 2 of the forks were bent, the plastic alignment tool which didnt even hold the clutch disk in place looked like a dog chewed on it and the pressure plate had rust spots. Im out 15$ for shipping and praying to god i can get a refund whenever the boys in florida get there sh!tty clutch kit back. Spend the extra money and get some powerslots from A.M or atleast get some reputable rotors from a legit company. You dont wanna be like me praying for a refund and getting delayed on your project even longer because u still dont have parts worth putting on your car.

I did learn an interesting thing about autozone recently when i replaced my rotors on my licoln. If you can print off a copy of the price on ebay, autozone will match it!!! Never knew it until i went to price them at autozone, and told them i could get them cheaper on ebay, and they said they would match it.

Never go cheap on something your life depends on, if your breaks fail because they are to cheap and garbage then look out. Always buy good quality brakes and tires, its your life your talking about.

Good way to think about it... I'll stay off the ebay site.
