whats the deal with a p.i swap?

whats the deal with a p.i swap? i do understand they make more power but what is difference between a p.i and non? what are the different components and what are the numbers they are putting out (p.i vs. non)?

PI motor has different heads, cams, and a different intake. PI motor does about 260 hp stock and the non-PI does about 215 for a 96-97 and 225 for a 98, hope that helps a little!

PI gives more compression, one of the really only advantages with a NPI is its easier to boost, yet you can still boost a PI easy enough.

i hear this pi stuff they speak of is just gossip and that it hasnt been seen in thousands of years - its just in our imaginations. if you actually go off in search of this pi material, youll end up going blind and crazy and addicted to meth.
