Suspension

I have a 96 gt with irs. I bought it with that and thought it was a rearend swap from an 03/04 cobra. Took a look at the diff and it says 3.27 which I assume means I have 3.27 gearing. Which would mean I don't have a cobra rear end sunce they have 3.55 gearing correct? So I'm confused on what car my rear end came from. Can anyone help?

IRS and SRA are completely different rear ends, physically.

Pics?

I don't have the car at my house unfortunately, its currently at a shop. So I cant take any pics. But I can assure you its not an sra. Just curious what irs swaps into a Mustang with 3.27 gearing.

Not sure the gearing they came with, but the 96-97 thunderbirds had IRS IIRC. they would swap right over... same chassis.
