96-98 gt fuel rail question

im looking to change my 99 gt to a return style fuel setup and want to put a fuel rail setup from 96-98 mustang but it seems that the fuel rails from 96,97,98 gt might be a little different from each other. im looking for the one with the fpr that sits on top of the rail and not welded to the rail. if anyone could chime in to tell me what yr pony has that thank you. and if anyone knows of someone that has one thank you

I believe that the 96 and 97 fuel rails has the fuel pressure regulator bolted to the rails while the 98 has it welded. I've also heard that there are a few different rails for each year but that is so far what I have experienced and seen. My 98 was welded

It should be just a vacuum line to the top and not electric. The fuel pressure regulator needs vacuum.
