Once you get a handheld tuner you can change the octane! Right now it really wont do much for you! Look into the SCT Xcal2 from Doug @ Bamachips! He gives you free new tunes when you put another mod on! And his tunes are great!

It changes the parameters in the engine and creates a better way to make power. It adjusts your Air Fuel ratio and things like that to make it run better. Personally I would leave any tuning to the profesionals if you are not familar with how an engine works and how the varaibles intertwine!

find a reputable dyno shop and have them tune it on the dyno. you will get the most out of your mods that way.

A mail order tune from Doug at Bamachips will be great for you! If you buy the tuner from him he will include life time retunes for different mods other than nitrous and turbos and blowers! The extra 30 bucks on the SCT Xcal2 is worth the free tunes for life IMO!

adding those mods shouldnt require you to change the octane. You will need a higher octane if you raise the compression by higher compression pistons or forced induction. Also if you alter the timing and fuel maps. If it is extremely hot or you drive road race style which in turn creats a lot of heat then higher octane would be good
