4.6 or 5.4
I was trying to get a little discussion going on this i cant decide if it would be better to build my stock 4.6 an do pi swap with upgraded cams an exhaust of course a kit but maybe turbo or something in the future or would it be better to do the 5.4 swap an build it as well either way it goes i wont be buying all the mods at once i would either slowly buy stuff to do the pi swap or buy the 5.4 an slowly build on it i just wanna know in the long run which would be easier to build an which would have better hp gains.

For the most part.
You need an hps intake manifold and a new set of shortie headers though or to grind down the ones you have. Read the writeups on the swap

You will get more power and torque from the 5.4 but you can still get most anything you want out of a 4.6 with the right combination of parts and money.

will it be 4.6 shorty headers or do they make 5.4 shortys an is there a good website to buy 5.4 parts something like American muscle or anything like that

sweet what about things like cams an Cai throttle body all that kinda stuff is all that the same as 4.6 stuff are they all interchangeable?????

That turbo 5.4 in the video is a BEAST... i wonder what the dyno numbers are on that thing. I just wanna steal my buddys f-150 5.4 triton v8 now...

i believe in the latest video i saw of it, it was equipped with a parachute - meaning it traps over 150 mph, or does 9.99 or quicker. id ballpark around 700-800 rwhp.
