96 gt
Hey guys, I have a 96 gt auto with a very weird problem to describe. When I take off from a complete stop the car seems to lurch...it also seems to do it while I am driving around but then goes away after about 5 min...it also goes away when i get on it too. I have a check engine code but i know that it is for my purge valve and I was wondering if that could have anything to do with it. Any ideas?

go to the nearest advanced auto and have them check your codes just to be sure thats the only one. Thats what I would do and it's free. Good luck bud!
