Midpipe Compatibility?

I jut got finished swapping out my catless 98' midpipe and put in a factory 2001 midpipe and for some reason the flange on the driverside wont line the bolt holes properly at the header, I rotated the flange and what not and for some odd reason it still wont give me more than one bolt, now when I crank it, I have a horrible exhaust leak at the driverside header/midpipe flange, anybody else have this problem? Thanks for the help guys!

I believe that the mid-pipe is different from the 96-98 and the 99-04.

Damn I hope not, I was looking at the aftermarket Midpipes from American Muscle, they say 96-04, I dont see why the aftertmarket would be any different than factory other than terms of flow thanks anywho

I know the 99-04 use a gasket on the passenger side but I have never heard of an alignment issue.

If you were closer I'd let you borrow my stocker from a 97 for your inspection. I can guarantee it would fit.
