Cobra brake or bullit brake upgrade
Its time to do some brake work on my 97...they as squeeling like roadkill.
I wana upgrade to 13" with cobra calipers, but i do not want to upgrade to 17" rims right now. Anyone know how much grinding it takes go get the 13" kits to fit in the 16 inch rims?

Taking a look at my cobra 2-piston caliper inside of my 17" rim I have to say that I doubt you'd get a 16" rim to clear that caliper. Period.
You're probably not interested but I have my stock rotors for my cobra for sale if you want them. They are used, but they machined nicely and have half a life still left in them. Just throwin that out there, lol. I don't think the terms "brake upgrade" and "grinding" go well together in the same sentence. I'd say save up some money and get the 17"s - although the caliper upgrade in and of itself is pricey, I've heard. So, good luck bro - keep us posted on what you're gonna do.

Thanks alot for checking that 96snaker, thought I had read somewhere that they would fit, but if its a tight fit on yours ill just have to upgrade the rims too.
Ill be intouch with one of you guys soon...trying to find some good looking rims&tires for a good price first.
