line locks in a 98 gt

i have a 98 gt without abs and i want to do line locks.
i have a couple questions so i can do this:
-do i need 1 or 2 solenoids?
-if 1 i assume it goes before the proportioning valve but i dont know which line it goes on?

I too am going to do this. I have a summit racing kit. Includes one solenoid. Instructions with kit not real good. I read hurst instructions and it shows one solenoid. I do not have abs on my 98 either.

you only need one solenoid and it should go between the master cylinder and the proportioning valve

every vehicle made has front brakes coming off the first line that the plunger in the master would activate when pedal is pressed, that way it starts apply pressure to the front brakes first
