Well then you're far more easy-going than most people.
Personally I'm more concerned with where the line is. I'm not exactly one of those Fobra's you see running around, that's basically a GT with a body kit. I'll have an actual 03 Cobra motor, transmission, fuel tank, cluster, (04) IRS, etc... in it. Still wish the PO of the motor wouldn't have kept the SVT build plate though. ![]() I just hate to see the angry mob screaming "It's not a Cobra! Look at your screenname! Liar!" when this is tucked under the hood: ![]() Of course at the same time I do enjoy people running their mouths that it actually is a V-6 with a body kit, not knowing what's really in it. ![]() ...but I'll stop threadjacking.

welcome to MM!
I agree with the guys here anything goes (hood, bumpers etc) but misbadging is usually looked down upon. Its your car though, and this is just advice. The final decision is always yours. I say what the hell go for it since you've went through all the trouble of getting the badges already |

Ha....I read this thread earlier and was wondering how long it would take for someone to chime in about the Cobra badges

I dont mind when someone throws the hood or bumpers on there. I mean hell I want a cobra hood and front bumper to put on my car. But once you put the badges on there its....................idk just a pet peeve I guess. If you go ALL the way and make like a straight up Cobra clone, meaning drivetrain, bumpers, hood and all then that would make more sense. But to change bumpers/hood and then Badge it as a cobra is a sin. Lol
