4r70w torque converters

Basically was wondering whats a good aftermarket brand and stall speed. Im on 4.30 gears and PI swapped . What is the advantage of a smaller TQ converter, was thinking about a 9 or 10 inch one.

Thanks allot

Edge racing converters is where mine if from. The smaller diameter is the same idea as a lighter flywheel, less mass to spin up to speed. I think mine is about a 3000 stall speed. I just called and talked to them and told them about all my mods and they built one for my needs.

i had one from a marauder, it also had a billet cover on it and i think the stall on those units are 2800, from what i was told its a damn nice unit if you can come across one..and id say 2800 would be a good stall, plus the maruader ones have well built internals.check em out
