PI swap will be much easier and less expensive! But keep you NPI heads and just take them off and get somebody to Port and Polish them and get some Stage 2 cams and new valve springs!

I voted P.I., let me explain why. The mark VIII has B heads which are by far the worst of all the modular family and will lack power unless you throw large amounts of boost at them. The P.I heads are going to give you a little more due to the compression bump, combined with the P.I. cams and intake it will smoke the car with the stock markVIII. The 2 valve is going to make more torque and horsepower without even getting into the bolt ons.

If you are going to do a 4 valve swap at least find a set of 99+ heads and intake. The mark VIII shortblock would be even better with the 2 valve heads however you'll be at the point where you may have to high of compression to run pump gas without a tune.

Budget build, Mark VIII shortblock, P.I cams, heads and intake with all the bolts could easily net 300 rwhp. This is not something I would suggest for a daily driver. Pick up a set of used comp cams and some mild porting on the heads you'll see even more.
My opinion only, I'm sure many will vary.

Yeah he doesnt want to do the heads! It was in his other post! But why would you put 2V heads on a 4V motor?

2.98 cc piston (MarkIII) with a P.I head would net around 11.5:1 compression. This next motor I am building is a junkyard special, 96 cobra pistons, gt crank and NPI heads ported by yours truley . I am trying to find a decent rod that will hold up to the high rpm range I plan to spin. I think th only part I will spend the extra $$$$ on will be the rods. I will either modify a realy ford aluminum NPI into a carbed intake or buy the edelbrock when and if I ever see results from one. Again most of this stuff is spare parts I have lying around, my intentions are to do a big bore with a similar set up. I will have " the fastest N/A NPI headed Mustang" one way or another.. lol
If my back heals in enough time I'll be able to finish my car, right now I am only doing piece work for people to pick up some extra cash here and there. Yesterday marks one full year since I hurt my back, I have been fortunate to be able to hang out at a performance shop and research every knook and cranny of what it takes to make real power. I had to sell out of the last car I was partial owner on and never even got any wheel time. Enough with the life story lol

There is plenty of information out there that shows there is alot more power potential to be made with any Modular engine. It is taking the time, research and money to put it all together and make it work as a combo. Ya get what I'm saying ?

Keep reading your magazine articles about how great P.I. heads are. LOL

"better be good do a pi swap cams for npi heads and a kenne bell ur be off the hook" ..
What language is this? Am I the only one that has no clue what this means ?

Anyhow I'm sure that this post had no mention of a blower, it was about a swap if I read right. If your use of words in a broken sentence that makes 0 sense is a sign of your intelligence I would hate to see the work you perform on your car.
