iac questions

So I've cleaned my iac a couple times now each time I do the car goes back to idling normal for a couple days and then it starts to idle funny again. What do you guys think is causing this? Also what is the black know thing behind the iac?

+1 on getting a new one, make sure you get a good one though, i got a new one once and after it was put on the car idles at 3k rpms. Also go ahead and clean the MAF too just to make sure, it wouldnt hurt.

That's what I think I'm going to do. Do you guys have any recommendation to what kind to get model number or anything? Also thanks I'll make sure to try that too.

get a new one because the carbon build up is starting to get where you cant clean which is why you are starting to have to clean it more and more often.
