15 mpg
I cant see any reason that I am getting 15 MPG 60/40 city highway.
I have a PI swapped motor out of an 03 gt. Car is a 5 speed. Brakes are not binding,no cel except for a rear o2 code. Front o2 sensors are new,new plugs, wires, new motorcraft IAC. No vac leaks that I can find. Car idles around 600 or so. It does lack a little low end power but if I jump on it itll chirp second. 373s in the rear. car goes right into closed loop. Shouldnt I be getting at least 19 or 20 mpg also keeping in mind that I rarely jump on it, actually I always try to keep RPMs below 2k. Whats my next move, compression or leakdown test. Oh yeah my wideband hovers around 14.7/1 at idle and cruise by it (the AFR) being at 14.7 wouldnt that indicate it is running pretty efficient ? doesnt make sense to me either.
Im at around 20 mpg with a pi swapped npi with crappy front 02's and getting on it everyday. especially with your wideband reading 14.7/1 you should be really good. What does the wideband do when your driving around.
