SCT and CAI

I just bought a CAI and SF3 SCT tuner from AM. Is there anything i need to know about it or is it pretty straight forward? Can you really tell a difference from the install of both?
Just wondering.
Thanks, Kody

the tuner i doubt will do much, they are a big help for auto's..maby if you had more bolton's and the tuner was capable of tuning them in it would help, but with a simple cai and a tuner, you wont have a giant jump but you will feel the better throttle response and i bet your engine will sound and run better...

as for me, i have a superchips 4.6 tuner and that thing makes a huge change in my car, it takes it from slow to a good amount of go..but i set it on 93 oct and power setting at max for the trans..is your sct tuned just for a cai and no other change in anything.?

Man. On a sn95 car a cai doesn't do shit. The tuner helps a little. If you want real gains a dyno tune is the way to go.

I have a CAI and o/r h pipe. I can feel more power coming from 1st and 2nd gear. and the throttle response is there. not sure exactly how much of a gain came from it.

ya cai will net you NO gains other than a cool sound and faster revs. The engine may gain like 5hp but it wont get it down to the wheels..but i like to put that bolton stuff on because i just feel that the engine runs smoother with it,plus its easier and cheaper to fix and replace..
