Any tips on rear bumper install?

So as long as this deal goes through I should be getting a new rear bumper to replace the ugly one on my car. Does anybody have any tips or warnings for installing a bumper?

It's pretty straight forward. There are brackets on each side in the quarter panels and it screws in at the wheel well. Some aftermarket kits ( like yours) screw in under the tail lights as well.

Ya. About 5 bolts that you need to get at from inside the trunk, going into the bumper.
Take you time, very simple.

The stock one should still bolt right up though right?

Yes, you will just need to transfer over the brackets. I forgot, there is a long bracket in the center section as well. You access the nuts to the bolts from the inside center of your trunk, near where the nuts are that hold on your tail lights. You will need to transfer that bracket as well.

Glad to see your removing that extra shelf from the back of your car.

So is that center bracket under the carpet in the trunk? And I know it's started to really bother me lately so I'm hoping this deal works out.

No, you don't need to lift out the carpet to swap out the bumpers. You will need to remove the trunk interior trim pieces on the sides and back as well as the tail lights though.
