Suspension.

I dont really feel comfortable with cutting my springs so if i buy some ford racing springs, do i need to upgrade my shocks and get cc plates? Can the cc plates be put on later or are they needed on install? I only want to lower about 1 inch because roads here arent great for lowered cars....

It would be a better ride quality if you swapped shocks and struts as well but for a 1" drop I wouldn't worry about it too much. With that small of a drop your stock plates should still get your tires in alignment as well.

iv done lifts on my jeep and i was wondering if lowering is more simple than lifting. i know the jeep needed new control arms and other stuff to compensate for lifting. when lowering, will i need to get anything else besides just the coils, shocks, and struts (sway bars, control arms, A arms, etc.)?

I cutbacks full coil off my stock springs. Lowered 3/4 inch. Can not tell any difference in ride.
