Bill,

Check/test the following:
1. Battery
2. alternator
3. charging wire from alternator to battery

If it is none of those, you may have some parisitic draw occurring in electronics elsewhere in the vehicle. See this site for more information: Battery Drain Parasitic Draw Testing

I hope this helps, have a great weekend!

How do your battery posts look? It may be as simple as cleaning them up with a wire brush or a post cleaner.

You really should not be disconnexlcting the battery with car running on a computer controlled car. Get charging system checked with everything hooked up as its supposes to be with alternator in car. Check amps as well as voltagevduring test.
