I reallyREALLY wanna get spraying..tips? or an xcal?

see my list of upgrades in signature...its just not fast enough.Im seriously wanting and have always wanted a simple 75shot on it..will i need to upgrade anything else for such a small shot? i will hopefully have on 24lb injects with a 80mm tuned mafs BUT would my current 19's be ok?..i dont plan on spraying much at all..just to have it there for the track and the ocasional road trips. how are those ZEX kits,? i see them on Clist alot for like 200 and they claim to be complete..id love forced induction but thats way out my price range..plus in my opionion nitrous is only hard on your engine for that little bit of time..SC can be safe but thats beyonf my reach..TIPS anybody or 2 cents? BTW have to keep it under 250, i will be hunting for used kits..or should i maby sell my superchips tuner and invest in an xcal with a tune for all my Pi stuff and the extra bolt on's..the superchips tuner does make a very noticeable diffrence, its just hard to see any tuner pulling more out of my car..

I ran zex wet kits..I know you said dry in another thread and if that's the case your going to have to build that fuel system and have it tuned. Otherwise you will blow something up. Not maybe you will. I ran my wet kit last summer shot from 75-175 (I bought a complete jetting kit) it was fun and all. Just spend the $550 on a new kit. No offense but I wouldn't trust buying a used kit so many little pieces that could be missing along with you don't know if that management system box is fried or not.

Good man! Like I said obviously not everyone has money to spare to buy everything new. But it's a power adder...YOU DON'T NEED IT! Lol so there's no reason you can't wait a couple weeks to have the piece of mind knowing you did it the right way. Plus a used kit you buy for $200 you decide at some point you don't want anymore you sell for $150. That $550 kit slightly used maybe still worth $400+ you may take a little bigger hit but when you owned it it was new, complete and functioning lol.

Just I still would upgrade your pump and injectors..24's and a 255 walboro are plenty

But yes nitrous is fun, it is very benificial..

These are the differences

BONE STOCK (flowmaster catback that's it) 183rwhp/252rwtq
Pi intake swap and minor bolt on's- 226rwhp/ 279rwtq
Same as above with a 75 shot- 313rwhp/367rwtq
Same as above with a 150 shot AND Pi heads- 412rwhp/470rwtq

Notice it pulled more than advertised? This is why I WAS in love with the stuff. But bottle refills, and the power only there when the tank has stuff in it or the switch is triggered. Just wasn't for me. I need the power all the time lol

i bet your car wont hit 140 anyways, and if you're spraying in OD to get to that speed, you're gonna blow the car up.

pi swap would help a ton, because it raises your compression. nitrous loves compression.

he's right that's why we think we pulled almost 170rwhp off of a 150 shot

he's saying he gained 170 rwhp on a 150 shot, due to increased compression. pi head swap will put you near 280-290 rwhp on motor. adding a 125 shot to that will likely take your hp up to around 350 or so due to the increased compression.

actually whether or not you're n/a, blown, nitrous, turbo, etc...compression will give you more power.

Yeah lol that's what I was getting at, between how much better stock for stock the pi's outflow npi's and the added 1pt of compression really helped gain 20hp extra over advertised CRANK hp to my wheels. 150 shot, to the wheels may only pull 130rwhp, my tuner said with my npi heads and stock 9.1:1 he thinks I could have honestly only pulled like 75-100rwhp off that 150 shot. Not bad for $100 heads and free compression gaining almost 100rwhp extra Over npi junk
