Question

96Gt w/auto...70mm or 75mm TB???

Just bought a 96 GT w/auto trans. I'm new to the modular world so I wanted to get some input on something. I have a stock NPI motor that I plan to do the following bolt-ons:

JLT CAI
P.P Upper Intake Plenum
PI cams and intake only( NOT the PI heads!!)
2 1/2" off-road x-pipe
2 1/2" Magnaflow catback
UD pulleys
4.10 gears
PA trans shift kit
Aluminum driveshaft
MSD coil packs
SCT Tuner with a custom tune

My question is with the above bolt ons should I get a 70 or 75mm TB?? Some say the 75mm is more for supercharged or more radical NA cars....others say the 75mm is better than a 70mm even on stock cars....??? I'm a little lost on this one. Please help!!!

If your gonna do the cams do the pi heads too. Only $100 for ford racing's head changing kit. That's where most of the power comes from in the full swap. As far as tb goes just get the 75mm, as a provision for later mods. You honestly won't feel a big or maybe even noticeable difference. Back when my car was only exhaust. I put on my tfs plenum and bbk 75mm tb and noticed nothing.

Also stay away from anything professional products. Either the dragon, tfs (trickflow) or c&l is about the same price and better quality parts from more reliable company's.
