Help with fuel pressure regulator...


so i finally got on my 80mm mafs and 24lb injectors..heres my questons, do i need to bump up the fuel pressure,i do have some decent bolt on's.And what type of style fuel system does my engine have,its is a 1997 4.6 romeo assembled in sept 1997(last month for my car)..? the guy i got the injectors said they run at 43.5 psi..is my stock fuel pump and regulator ok for this??.i see some walboro 255 fuel pumps and fpr's go for cheap on cragslist, cheap brandnew anyways..BUT DO I NEED THEM? will i get any extra gains or problems putting in a larger fuelpump and fpr..? heres what my rails look like..

The stock FPR and pump are fine. There is no need increase the fuel pressure. All MN12's had a "return-style" fuel system. If/when you replace your fuel pump, you can go to a larger fuel pump without doing any harm other than heating up the fuel more than necessary, but for your current power level, the stock pump is fine. There is no need whatsoever to mess with an aftermarket FPR. You do have a tune for the MAF and injectors you just installed right?
