4v with automatic
ok lets see if someone knows..i know i do...will my automatic work if i dropped a cobra motor in it??and if it does bolt up what would i have to do to my computer if i dropped a 4.6 dohc 4 valve in it??i want to do it so bad if it works..

if you got the engine, why not get the 6 speed transmission from the cobra?
and what kind of transmission do you have now?

stock auto in the 96s..i think a 4r70w...and my gf drives it and she doesnt want anything to do with a standard..

i dont see why it wouldnt its electric and it bolts up to a 2v 4.6 block which is the same as a 4v 4.6 block

Yeah I believe its going to take some work too! But then again the windsor 2Vs had the 8 bolt crank and they had autos so maybe it will work!

what year did the 4v come out of. if its a newer 99+ all you will have to do is get a automatic Mach ECU and the wiring harness and have it tuned and you are done.

yeah aviator is only 03 and up lol...they are badazz...and are you saying the mach1 has an automatic??

well i saw an automatic mach1 on ebay..i never knew they put automatic in it..maybe i should just get a mach1 engine then...theres one on ebay for 2800 with a standard transmission though...and it has a computer but thats for a standard..
