car got hit

so my dads girlfriend backed into my car this morning. the front left quarter panel is dented in real good. she called her insurance and they're gonna pay for it. now what is my best bet shoudl i have a place do it or should i buy a quarter panel from a junk yard, get it painted and do it myself to pocket some money? how hard would it be to change it myself?

haha yeap thats the one..it didnt have 1 scratch or dent on it up until today. i keep it so clean i think i have ocd with it oh well lol

changing a fender maybe 2 hours if its your first time and you got a set of tools

But you might need to get the paint blended depending on the way the new fender looks compaired to your old paint.

good one...when i wrote that post i had just woken up and the night before was a rough one if u know what i mean haha anyways i got it estimated today and the estimate is for $1,160

you can pick up a fender from a junk yard for $100... shoot they sell them for like $150.00 on ebay.

plus paint....

that's a lot of cash to spend on a fender
