x pipe exchange

alright today was an interesting day, i go to have my x pipe installed and the bastard flange wont fit my catback, so i had to fudge it to make it fit. BBK sucks their x pipe is garbage, to top it all off i drive the car and it sounds alot louder and nicer, but it feels like a dog, i bring it over to crazy horse (the best mustang place on the east coast), and he says our engines are made to run with cats (for best performance leave 2 cats), i bet if we strap this car on to the dyno you would loose 30 rwtq easily, so when all was said and done i returned my x pipe and ordered a bassani catted X. Dam im pissed now i have to wait a week for bassani to ship from california.

I have never heard of losing that much torque. I have heard losing maybe 5 RWTQ, but not 30!

what i meant to say was 30 throught my rpm, you probably saw 5 peak tq

i was just wonderin, how much hp do u gain from removing the cats? and how much does it help ur gas mileage?

well, from what i was told today you gain maybe 4 peak hp and loose about 30 tq, i find that hard to beleive because of the popularity of this mod, what i really want to see is someones dyno before and after the Xpipe install
