did PI Intake swap... now running rough, please help

i switched out the PI intake yesterday, let everything sit over night. rechecked everything this morning, found an injector O-ring went bad so i replaced it. turned it back on and took her for a 2 mile spin. the entire time the car ran really rough. liek the spark plugs were bad or something, but i made sure all the boots were on tightly. i parked her and opened the hood and a little bit of coolant and a hissing sound was comming from the rear drivers side of the intake... idk if its lack of RTV, or if its not bolted down enough... any thoughts... i REALLY DON'T want to tear this sucker down again... i'm out of town at my parents house and i have to be at work tomorrow. any insight would be great!! thank you!!

It's probably a lack of rtv, you could have also got coolant on a spark plug.

well, the pasenger side looks great, no coolant, plugs seem fine. its only the drivers side. is there anyway to just redo the drivers side? and will i have to buy another set of gaskets?

Gaskets are fine but you do have to pull the intake up and re rtv it. Also you could have fluid coolant in that rear spark plug hole so i would check that.

Also check for a vacum leak..that will normally cause the car to run like shit

thanks shart bait, i ended up re RTV it. but unfortunately, i can't let it sit over night, it'll only have about 4 hours of cure time... so i'm concerned that it might not cure all the way.... is 4 hours of cure time ok?? i have a 4 hour drive time later on tonight, will it be ok?

I haven't done the swap yet, but both guides say to let it sit overnight to fully cure. I haven't really seen an rtv that doesn't need to sit 24 hours.. but I've only just used that autozone rtv and its worked great. I just figured I would chime in.. Im not for sure if I would drive it or not, but looks like your situation won't allow you not too.

well, a little update from last night. car did fine, no leaks, i don't hear hissing, car isn't full of coolant. HOWEVER... my check engine light is blinking and there is MAJOR hesitation and ALOT of back fire (popping) from my exhaust... so i'm thinking my plugs and wires are fouled, i'm just going to change the wires seeing that the plugs where changed a few months ago, i think i'm just going to clean up the plugs with a rag and new wires. if anyone has any insight as to the check engine light flashing and those symtoms that would be awesome! and thanks for your concern guys!

The flashing check engine light means you have a serious misfire. It will destroy your converters if driven like that for very long. If you can get the codes pulled it will tell you which cylinder is misfiring. Glad to hear the redo of the RTV seems to be holding. Never was thrilled with the idea of using that method, but it seems to work for most people.
